DWG, Inc. provided the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Communications engineering design for the construction of a new Bikram Yoga located in the Shoppes at Seaside Farms in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. The recently completed eco-friendly, green school for hot yoga encompassed over 3600 square feet of space total.
The school includes a full 1500 square foot yoga room, comfortable locker rooms with showers, and a beautiful, expansive lobby for relaxing and visiting with other students before and after class.
The heating system has been engineered to meet and exceed Bikram’s specific requirements for hot yoga, while providing a silent, consistent, even temperature and relative humidity in the yoga space. The yoga room flooring is made of 50% post-industrial recycled content, and is an antimicrobial/antifungal, non-slip material.
