DWG Inc. Consulting Engineers was responsible for the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection and Communications design of the Horizon Plan on Seabrook Island, a $31 million refurbishment project which includes a new community center and lakeside pavilion, a new golf clubhouse and dining facilities, a new beach club, and a renovated tennis complex. The Island House, a 30,000-square-foot oceanfront golf clubhouse, includes new restaurants and lounges, private dining rooms and a 6,000-square-foot events ballroom.

The oceanfront Beach Club includes a 5,000-square-foot outdoor restaurant and lounge, two oceanside pools, an oceanfront wedding venue. The Lake House, a 24,000-square-foot building, includes a 6,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art fitness center, 25-meter indoor pool, outdoor pools and recreation and athletic facilities, as well a variety of community meeting and activity rooms, all overlooking Seabrook’s Palmetto Lake.
