Walking for a Purpose: DWG Joins the Walk for Water

At DWG Consulting Engineers, we’re always looking for meaningful ways to give back—whether it’s right here in Charleston, South Carolina, or across the globe. Last month, several members of our team participated in the 2025 Walk for Water, a powerful local event hosted by Water Mission that raises awareness about the global water crisis and the urgent need for safe, clean water worldwide.

The 3.5-mile walk represents the average distance that millions of women and children walk each day to collect water for their families—often from contaminated sources. Participants carry empty buckets for the first half of the walk, then fill them with water for the return journey, gaining a small but powerful perspective on what so many endure daily.

We’re honored to support Water Mission, headquartered here in Charleston, and their mission to fight the global water crisis. It’s inspiring to be part of a community that takes action—and we’re committed to continuing that impact, one step at a time.
