DWG provided mechanical and electrical design for a new 14,569 square-foot, stand-alone Montessori charter school in Mt Pleasant. The East Cooper Montessori Charter School in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina had out-grown its learning cottages on an adjacent lot in I’ON.

The new facility houses 200 students from kindergarten through eighth grade. The building is comprised of eight classrooms whose windows utilize the natural daylight a 2,200 square foot Grand Hall for multi-purpose use. A clock tower anchors the building on axis of an adjacent street and exterior detailing ties it to its neighbors.
