Project Description

DWG provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering services for the $28 million expansion and renovation of Seacoast Church’s Mount Pleasant campus, home to one of the largest faith-based broadcasting organizations in South Carolina. The project featured a new 2,500-seat worship center, nearly doubling the previous auditorium's capacity to support the church’s growing congregation. Designed with a focus on broadcast capability, the new auditorium features advanced audio-visual infrastructure, theatrical lighting, catwalk access, and an Independent Distribution Frame to support live streaming and multimedia production across multiple campuses. The expansion also included renovations of the ministry areas, creating a more dynamic and engaging environment for all age groups. Seacoast’s investment reflects its commitment to growing its ministry and expanding its reach throughout the region.
