DWG, in conjunction with ADC, provided all Title 1 investigative services and furnished all materials necessary for the survey and identification of fire alarm systems and components for 242 facilities on the Naval Weapons Station of Joint Base Charleston. Facilities were surveyed and existing fire alarm systems evaluated for compliance with Anti-Terrorism Force Protection, JBC Mass Notification and UFC requirements. The estimated system requirements to bring the facility into compliance was communicated to a third-party cost estimator. The Existing Fire Alarm / Mass Notification system assessment descriptions, condition indexes and facility occupancy ratings were established for each facility along with the building number, function, size and cost. All of this information was captured in a single user-friendly master spreadsheet that allows the user to develop a MILCON plan and budget.
